CSUN Finishes 3rd in Volleyball Tournament

Missy Clements had 35 kills and Aimee Stone added 28 as the Cal State Northridge women’s volleyball team split a pair of matches in the San Diego State tournament Saturday.

San Diego State defeated Northridge, 15-11, 15-10, 14-16, 15-12, but the Matadors rebounded for a 15-7, 15-5, 15-10 win over Hofstra.

Northridge, which lost to 17th-ranked Arizona in four games Friday, finished third in the four-team tournament, which was won by Arizona.

Heather Anderson of Northridge (4-3) had 10 blocks against San Diego State.
