SEASON AT A GLANCE: Frazier, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter, has helped L.A. Baptist to a 5-0 record. Frazier and setter Tunde Hrotko are the only returning starters from a team that lost in the 1993 Southern Section Division V quarterfinals.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Frazier had 27 kills over two matches as L.A. Baptist defeated Canyon and previously unbeaten La Canada. In the Santa Paula tournament over the weekend, Frazier had 79 kills and was named tournament most valuable player. The Knights won all 11 games, including a 15-13 victory over St. Bonaventure in the final. “She really is our best offensive weapon and our go-to person,” Coach Sue Newcomb said. “Darcie and Tunde have helped us to more success than we thought we’d have.”
