Thousand Oaks 28, Channel Islands 7--Senior Mike Thomas led the Lancers (3-4, 2-3) with three touchdowns, scoring on runs of two, three and one yard at Channel Islands. He gained 41 yards in 12 carries.

Bill Sperry led the Lancers with 67 yards in 19 carries.

Junior Brandon Jackson (66 yards in eight carries) put the game out of reach with a 56-yard touchdown run on the second play of the second half, giving Thousand Oaks a 21-0 lead.

The Raiders (1-7, 0-5) scored in the fourth quarter when defensive tackle Red Pedrick recovered a fumble at the Lancers’ eight-yard line, setting up Tony Moore’s eight-yard run.
