OUTLOOK

Pacific Shores is the smallest private high school in Orange County so its weaknesses begin there. However, there seems to be more interest in the team after last season, when the Seahawks won their first-ever playoff game. Chapple is the team’s leading scorer and if he’s hot, there’s no limit to his range. Ring and Werner will take over the ball-handling duties and both are good shooters. Sipling will start at forward and is a wide-body who sets picks for Chapple. Nima Sabharwal is the center and is a big, strong player who is the Seahawks’ best rebounder. Kassinove took over the program and may take some time to familiarize himself with his players, but Pacific Shores’ season starts slowly with only two games in December. However, the Seahawks will be in for 11 league games in the last 28 days of January, which will determine whether they return to the playoffs.
