In other Golden West League games:

Westminster 10, Santa Ana 6--Keith Bigelow allowed two unearned runs and five hits in six innings to earn the victory for No. 8 Westminster (11-2, 5-1). Bigelow improves to 4-0 on the season.

The Lions took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the third, and added five more in the top of the fourth. Westminster finished with 10 runs on 11 hits.

Santa Ana (6-6, 3-3) committed six errors.

Kint Montgomery had two hits and Jerry Allison added two hits and two RBIs for the visiting Lions.

Servite 10, Ocean View 0--Rick Chessman (1-2) pitched five innings of one-hit baseball with six strikeouts to lead Servite (7-6, 3-3). For the Friars, Brian Greene went three for four with two runs batted in, Greg Shia went two for three with three RBIs and two runs scored and Jon Goldsmith went two for three with two RBIs and two runs scored.

In the Freeway League:

Fullerton 6, Buena Park 5--Robert Achavarria hit a game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh for Fullerton (6-4, 4-2). Achavarria went three for four with a home run and three RBIs, hitting his fourth home run of the season.

The Indians had five doubles in the game and Buena Park (4-4-1, 2-3-1) added two home runs.

Sonora 5, La Habra 4--Mark Patino hit the game-winning home run, a two-run shot, in the bottom of the sixth for seventh-ranked Sonora (10-1-1, 4-1-1). Patino finished with three RBIs. Teammate David Haller went two for three with a triple and an RBI and Junior Rodriguez had two hits and an RBI. David Miller (4-0) gave up two hits in 4 2/3 innings, striking out four. La Habra is 2-8, 0-6.

Sunny Hills 13, Troy 0--Greg Garand went three for three with four RBIs to lead ninth-ranked Sunny Hills (10-3, 5-1). Garand went six innings to pick up his fifth victory of the season.

In the Garden Grove League:

La Quinta 12, Bolsa Grande 5--Craig Kuzmic hit his third and fourth home runs of the season and picked up four RBIs for No. 5 La Quinta (13-2-1, 5-0). Teammate Brian Martin went two for three with three RBIs. Bolsa Grande is 1-10, 0-4.

Santiago 3, Los Amigos 0--Franky Hernandez (2-1) struck out four and allowed five hits in the shutout. Anthony Callari had two hits, two stolen bases and an RBI for host Santiago (4-6, 2-2).

In Orange League baseball:

Magnolia 6, Savanna 4--Jorge Silva had three hits and four RBIs and James Penner had four hits for the Sentinels (6-2, 5-1). Josh Reding had two hits and two runs and pitched a scoreless seventh to earn the save, his first of the season.

Valencia 4, Anaheim 0--Pitcher Dan Lincavage had a two-hitter and struck out six and had a RBI for visiting Valencia (5-3, 4-2). Phil Shipman had a double and an RBI for Valencia, which improved to 5-3, 4-2.

Western 4, Brea Olinda 2--David Bell (2-1) went the distance, striking out seven, for Western (5-8, 3-3). Del Mora went two for three with one RBI. Brea Olinda is 5-5, 3-3.
