San Clemente 12, Mission Viejo 1--Brittney Carlson pitched a complete-game three-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead sixth-ranked San Clemente (12-1, 1-0). Mission Viejo (6-6-1, 0-1) gave up 12 unearned runs.

Trabuco Hills 3, Capistrano Valley 2--Vanessa Saavedra (6-1) pitched a complete game, giving up two runs on three hits to lead Trabuco Hills (7-5, 1-0). Capistrano Valley is 7-9, 0-1.
