Saddleback, Sophomore
Track/Heptathlon
Leonard, from Dana Hills, missed a chance to compete in the Southern California heptathlon championships last season because of scheduling mistakes. The dates of the event were changed and Saddleback never got the word. But this season, no such mistake was made and Leonard finished fourth overall, but first in the Orange Empire Conference. She had 3,692 points and earned a spot in the State tournament, May 19-20 in Bakersfield.
