Tustin 9, Santa Ana 1--Jenny Odum had three hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs for host Tustin (7-6-1, 5-4-1).
Ocean View 9, Saddleback 0-- Sarah Gulla hit a three-run homer in the first inning and teammate Kathy Ponce (9-4) had 13 strikeouts for Ocean View.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Aliso Niguel 12, Laguna Beach 5--Salina Vavia, who hit a home run in the third inning, was three for three with five RBIs for Aliso Niguel (3-13, 2-2).
Laguna Hills 12, University 2 (5, mercy)--Meghan O’Donnell went three for three with one run scored and two RBIs to lead Laguna Hills (12-8, 4-0).
In the Sea View League:
Santa Margarita 5, Newport Harbor 1--Mary Nichols walked twice and scored two runs for Santa Margarita (9-12, 2-2). Jackie Farmer pitched a three-hitter, giving up only an unearned run to Newport Harbor (9-7-1, 2-2).
Irvine 4, Corona del Mar 0--Amy Young struck out 16 in the two-hit shutout for Irvine.
El Toro 2, Woodbridge 1 (11)--Alisha Groshon’s no-out single in the bottom of the 11th scored Dana Gulick. El Toro is 13-11, 3-1.
In the South Coast League:
Mater Dei 4, Mission Viejo 0--Colleen Boddy (17-3) pitched her eighth shutout of the season and fourth in a row for Mater Dei. Robin Walker went two for three with two RBIs for the Monarchs (18-3, 4-0).
Trabuco Hills 4, San Clemente 2--Jami Tellez went two for three, scoring two runs as Trabuco Hills (11-8, 3-1) upset sixth-ranked San Clemente (16-4, 2-2).
Dana Hills 6, Capistrano Valley 5 (9)--Tori Hamilton’s two-out single drove in Renee Scott from second base with the winning run to cap a three-run ninth for Dana Hills (12-8, 1-3). Shawnie Gordon had two RBIs to lead the Dolphins.
In Empire League tennis:
Loara 18, Kennedy 0--James Pai won at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, for Loara (16-1, 7-0).
In the Pacific Coast League:
University 17, Estancia 1--Doug McCan won his sets, 6-3, 6-1, 6-0, and Chris Seid and Joey Freedman won in doubles, 6-4, 6-0, 6-1, to lead eighth-ranked University (10-3, 7-0).
In the Orange League:
Brea Olinda 15, Magnolia 3--Mark Fisher and Nimeesh Shah won at No. 3 doubles, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2, for Brea Olinda (14-6, 6-0).
In the Sea View League:
Woodbridge 17, Irvine 1--In singles, Jonny Biorkman didn’t lose a game for No. 2 Woodbridge (15-1, 7-0).
In Sunset League tennis:
Esperanza 11, Fountain Valley 7--The doubles teams of Matt Fryer and Tony Hsu and Jeff Chang and Charlie Chien won, 6-2, 6-2, 6-1, to lead Esperanza (9-6, 7-1).
