El Dorado 8, Kennedy 2--Chris Beck had two hits and an RBI and Trent Cuevas added a single and two RBIs for 10th-ranked El Dorado (17-6, 8-4). Katella is 13-10, 5-7.

In the Freeway League:

Buena Park 13, Troy 2--Timmy Jones hit a grand slam in the second inning, giving Buena Park (9-9-1, 5-6-1) a 5-1 lead. Greg Cabral hit his sixth home run of the season in the third, finishing four for five with three RBIs.

Fullerton 1, Sonora 0--Fullerton upset No. 8 Sonora (17-3-2, 9-2-1) when Robert Echavarria scored from second on a throwing error by third baseman Marc Patino. David Miller gave up three hits and went two for three for Sonora. Fullerton is 6-6 in league.

Sunny Hills 6, La Habra 3--Greg Garand (7-1) picked up his seventh victory in the complete game for Sunny Hills (17-6, 8-4). Scott Warkentin went two for three, with a run scored and an RBI.

In the Garden Grove League:

Garden Grove 10, Los Amigos 2--Gabe Maldonado hit a two-run homer in the third inning and a grand slam in the sixth for Garden Grove (11-9, 7-3). Teammate Kevin Loken went two for four with two RBIs.

La Quinta 9, Santiago 0--Mark Ukleja hit a grand slam for fourth-ranked La Quinta (21-3-1, 10-0). Charlie Tuggle was four for four with two runs scored for the Aztecs.

Pacifica 6, Bolsa Grande 2--Jim Fenglio went three for five with a triple and two runs scored and Dan Murphy was two for three for Pacifica (13-9, 7-3).

In the Golden West League:

Servite 6, Santa Ana 1--Dave Waters got his second save for Servite and teammate George Carralejo went two for three with two RBIs. Servite is 14-9, 8-4.

Tustin 10, Ocean View 0--Jason Milliman pitched his sixth complete game of the season and struck out two. Teammates Rudy Aguilera had three RBIs and Rick Gonzalez went two for four with two RBIs and two runs scored for Tustin (17-4, 11-1).

In the Orange League:

Valencia 4, Savanna 1--Joe Secoda, who earned the save after striking out two Savanna batters with runners on first and third, also hit his first home run of the season for Valencia (9-9, 7-5).

In the Sea View League:

Irvine 2, Corona del Mar 1--Kris Kim stole home with two outs in the seventh to give sixth-ranked Irvine the victory. Matt Ward (11-2) pitched a four-hitter, striking out seven, and Joe O’Toole was two for three for the Vaqueros (17-5, 11-1).

Santa Margarita 9, Newport Harbor 5--Chris Tessman, who was two for three, hit his third home run of the season for Santa Margarita (15-7, 10-2).

In the South Coast League:

Dana Hills 6, Capistrano Valley 1--Scott Maynard (5-4) pitched a five-hitter and homered for Dana Hills (10-13, 5-7).

Mission Viejo 8, Mater Dei 7--Mission Viejo’s Todd Reinhart doubled in the tying run in the seventh and later scored the winning run on shortstop Scott Daeley’s seventh error of the game. Reinhart was four for five for the Diablos (8-11-1, 3-9) and Rich Rawson (4-4) shut out the second-ranked Monarchs (16-5, 9-3) over the final three innings.

Trabuco Hills 10, San Clemente 3--Jake Anderson had a three-run homer in the sixth and Ryan Costello a two-run shot in the first for second-place Trabuco Hills (10-3).
