VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP : Campbell Hall Advances

Eric Hassan had 27 kills and Dylan Herrick added 15 kills and 12 digs as Campbell Hall defeated South Pasadena, 15-11, 15-6, 14-16, 15-0, in a first-round Southern Section Division III volleyball match at Campbell Hall.

Tim Nollan had 47 assists and Jae Ahn had 17 digs for Campbell Hall (12-3), which finished second in the Alpha League.

South Pasadena was the second-place entry from the Rio Hondo League.

Village Christian d. Montclair Prep, 15-3, 15-1, 15-7--Chad Hanson had 11 kills and David Ludwig contributed 29 assists for the Crusaders in a first-round Southern Section Division III match at Village Christian.

Kiko Banos added 10 kills and six digs, while Mike Mitchell made five blocks for Village Christian.

Paso Robles d. Queen of Angels, 15-11, 9-15, 15-11, 15-5--Peter Tran had 15 kills and Khoa Nguyen made 25 assists, but the Angels (19-1) lost their dreams of a perfect season in a first-round Southern Section Division III match.

St. John Bosco d. Viewpoint, 15-5, 15-2, 15-9--The Patriots were swept by the Braves in the first-round Division III playoff match at St. John Bosco.

Phil McKay had 10 kills, five assists and three blocks for the the Braves (9-8).
