Kenneth Pritchett’s 45-yard touchdown run with just over seven minutes remaining secured a 21-7 nonleague victory Thursday night for Crescenta Valley High over Burbank at Glendale High.

Pritchett gained 163 yards in 25 carries and scored twice.

After Crescenta Valley spotted Burbank a 7-0 lead, quarterback Cody Blackburn completed his only pass--a 54-yard scoring play to Tim Jones. Pritchett’s two-point conversion run gave the Falcons (2-1) an 8-7 halftime lead.

Blackburn suffered a hyper-extended right knee in the second quarter and did not return.

With backup quarterback Sae Woon Jo taking over, Crescenta Valley did not throw a pass in the second half.
