Andrew Kim’s five-yard touchdown run with 3 minutes 15 seconds to play gave Calabasas High an 18-15 victory over Harvard-Westlake in a nonleague game Saturday at Harvard-Westlake.

Harvard (0-4) had a chance to tie the score with 43 seconds remaining, but Greg Nortman’s 42-yard field-goal attempt hit the left upright and bounced away.

Nortman kicked field goals of 38, 49 and 42 yards before missing. Nortman’s final field goal gave Harvard a 15-10 lead midway through the fourth quarter before Calabasas (3-1) drove 80 yards in 10 plays for the winning score.

Jeff Arnell caught a two-point conversion pass from Scott Quigley after Calabasas’ last touchdown.

“The offensive line did the bulk of the work, everybody did a good job and I just ran behind them,” said Kim, who had an ankle injury and carried only four times for 18 yards.

Harvard opened the scoring on its first possession with a 62-yard drive capped by a 29-yard run by Abed Abusaleh, who finished with 104 yards in 26 carries.

After Calabasas kicker Justin Cohen and Nortman traded field goals, the Coyotes scored on a 59-yard pass play from Quigley to Arnell and took a 10-9 lead with five minutes to play in the half.

Nortman kicked his 49-yarder, longest of his career, with 1:40 to play in the half.

Harvard controlled the ball with its running game, allowing Calabasas to run only four plays during a scoreless third quarter.

Quigley completed five of 10 passes for 112 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Harvard’s Merlin DeMartinis completed one of eight for 22 yards.
