La Canada 21, South Pasadena 8--Sam Paneno shook off a pulled muscle in his hip to rush for 172 yards in 29 carries for visiting La Canada.
Marco Molina opened the Spartans’ scoring with a 17-yard touchdown run in the first period. Paneno scored on a eight-yard run midway through the second period to put La Canada (4-2) ahead, 14-0.
Stanley Butler added a one-yard scoring run.
