SOUTHERN SECTION ROUNDUP : HIGH DESERT LEAGUE

Paraclete 40, Mojave 6--Paraclete’s Ben Joyce completed 11 of 14 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns to pace the Spirits (4-4, 1-2) over Mojave (3-5, 1-2) at Antelope Valley College.

Paraclete’s Sal Iabichella rushed for 52 yards in 10 carries. He scored twice--on a 41-yard pass play and a 24-yard run.

Mojave’s only touchdown came on a 38-yard reception by Chuck Pierce after a Paraclete fumble.
