Santiago won its second consecutive Sunset League title in large part because of Rodriguez. "She has very good stick work," Santiago Coach Kit Snider said. "She is very fast, and she's very aggressive and goal hungry." Last Tuesday, Rodriguez scored two goals in the Cavaliers' 3-0 victory over Edison that wrapped up the league title. She also scored a goal Thursday in a 4-0 victory over Santa Ana and had three goals and an assist Saturday in a 5-0 victory over Huntington Beach in the first round of the Tournament of Champions. Rodriguez has 46 goals and 12 assists this season.
