PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : SUPER BOWL : It’s Like a Rhinestone Championship
Singer Glen Campbell will be host of the Super Bowl pregame show, which will include performances by the Doobie Brothers and representatives of Arizona’s 21 Indian Nations.
The show will also include actors from the Rockin’ R Ranch and Arizona Gunfighters, who will stage a train robbery.
Campbell, a longtime Phoenix resident, will introduce each segment.
The pregame show will lead into fireworks, a balloon release and the national anthem, which will be sung by Vanessa Williams.
