Robinson, from Costa Mesa High, took the long way to Irvine Valley. She came from Miami, where she spent her freshman year. She scored 21 points and had six rebounds to help Irvine Valley beat Fullerton, 63-47, Wednesday. She came back to make six of six free throws and finished with 18 points and five rebounds as the Lasers beat Orange Coast, 67-60, to move into a three-way tie for third with Orange Coast and Golden West.
