In Garden Grove League softball:

Bolsa Grande 1, Rancho Alamitos 0--Mandy Girourd pitched a no-hitter for Rancho Alamitos but allowed an unearned run in the fourth to first-place Bolsa Grande. The Vaqueros (3-14, 2-4) committed two errors, but both came in the fourth and led to Bolsa Grande’s run. Mary Petrie pitched a two-hitter for Bolsa Grande (12-7, 6-0).

In the Golden West League:

Rosary 3, Saddleback 0--Julie Luna picked up her 12th win for Rosary (15-7, 3-0).

In the South Coast League:

Mater Dei 4, San Clemente 0--Lisa Tully had three hits and two RBIs and Monica Lucater and Kelsey Kollen each had two hits and an RBI for visiting Mater Dei (17-1, 2-0), ranked second in the county.

In the Sunset League:

Los Alamitos 11, Edison 0 (5, mercy)--Cyndi Tredway was two for three with two runs scored and three RBIs and Andrea Castillo added a three-run triple for Los Alamitos (12-7-1, 2-1).

In nonleague golf:

Santa Margarita 186, Estancia 211--Greg Pittenger shot two-under 34 and Steve Wagner shot par 36 on the North course at Coto de Caza for Santa Margarita (12-1). Estancia is 12-2.

In the Century League boys’ swimming:

Villa Park 110, El Modena 59--Eighth-ranked Villa Park won all three relays to help edge El Modena. Toyo Tsujino, who won both his events for El Modena, posted Southern Section qualifying times in the 200 freestyle (1:47.19) and the 500 free (4:51.67).

In Golden West League boys’ tennis:

Saddleback 16, Tustin 2--Hien Le swept, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2, in singles for Saddleback (11-4, 6-1), which hosts first-place Servite today.

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 24, Magnolia 0--Hien Ta and Tony Lin swept at singles, then teamed for a, 6-1, 6-1 victory at doubles for 10th-ranked Brea Olinda (16-1, 5-0).

In the South Coast League:

Capistrano Valley 13, Mater Dei 5--Sophomore Kuan Lee swept in singles, 6-4, 7-5, 6-2, for host Capistrano Valley (4-10, 1-3).

In Empire League boys’ volleyball:

El Dorado 3, Cypress 1--Matt Sage had 35 kills to lead El Dorado in its 15-7, 15-10, 11-15, 15-12 win over Cypress.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Aliso Niguel 3, University 0--Jason Mulkay and Cory Chandler each had 21 kills for host Aliso Niguel (9-4, 4-1), which won, 9-15, 15-10, 14-16, 15-10, 15-8. Donald Chen had 22 kills for University.
