In the Century League boys’ finals:

Foothill wins--James Thornton won the 200 freestyle (1:44.79) and the 500 freestyle (4:50.04) as Foothill won the title with 595 points. Villa Park (413) finished second led by Kyle Baumgarner, who won the 50 (21.72) and 100 freestyles (48.23).

In Freeway League boys’ finals:

Sunny Hills wins--Hironari Sakoda helped Sunny Hills to its fifth consecutive league title, winning the 200 IM (1:59.39) and 100 fly (53.95). Sunny Hills finished with 326 points. Sonora finished second with 223 points and Buena Park third (206).

In the Sunset League boys’ finals:

Marina wins--With victories in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, Marina scored 309 points to win. Los Alamitos finished second (284).

In the South Coast League boys’ finals:

Kizierowski dominates--Bart Kizierowski continued to dominate the 50 and 100 freestyles for Mission Viejo, posting the county’s fastest times in each event, 20.98 and 45.11. Teammate Piotr Florczyk won the 500 freestyle (4:33.17) and 200 individual medley (1:53.8) for top-ranked Mission Viejo, which won the title with 480 points. Capistrano Valley was second (457).

In the Century League girls’ finals:

Foothill wins--Shannon Locks won the 200 IM as Foothill won the title with 429 points. Villa Park was second with 418.5 and Orange was third (363). Alyson Edoff of Orange won the 200 (1:57.38) and 100 freestyles (53.85).

In Freeway League girls’ finals:

Sunny Hills wins--Anna Armstrong and Mandi Dobbs led Sunny Hills to its 10th consecutive league title with two victories each. Sunny had 376 points. Troy finished second with 294.

In the South Coast league girls’ finals:

Mission Viejo wins--Jovanka Dimovska won the 100 butterfly as Mission Viejo won with 505.5 points. Teammate Dominique Rash won the 100 backstroke (1:00.57).
