Early-Morning Blaze Breaks Out in Garage
A fire that caused $60,000 damage to a Camarillo residence remains under investigation today, authorities said.
The blaze at 1360 Cordova St. was largely confined to a garage and extinguished by firefighters about 10 minutes after it was reported at 1:18 a.m. Thursday, a Ventura County Fire Department spokeswoman said.
The lone occupant of the residence escaped uninjured to a neighbor’s home, the spokeswoman said.
