Cal State Fullerton Makes Changes in Coaching and Administration

The Cal State Fullerton athletic department announced several staff moves Friday.
Tamlyn Tills, Tim Kenworthy and Rondre Jackson joined the women’s basketball staff as assistant coaches. Anthony Mirabal joined the women’s volleyball staff as an assistant and John Jentz is the new athletic financial officer.

Kristen Marquis of San Juan Capistrano finished third in the senior prequalifying diving championship meet in Beaverton, Ore., earning a spot in the national championships.
The top four finishers in the meet advance to the finals in Moultrie, Ga. starting Aug. 12. Marquis, 15, is a member of the McCormick team of Irvine.

Keri Phebus of Newport Beach lost in one semifinal of the Toshiba Opportunity tennis tournament in San Diego. Mugette Ahn of Los Angeles advanced to the final by winning, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.
