If the Westlake High girls are going to be a force in the Marmonte League vollyeball race, they must get past Royal. Without much rest.

Because of a scheduling snafu, the Warriors played highly regarded Thousand Oaks Wednesday night and come back against Royal and standouts Carrie Swartz and Nikki Guerra tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Westlake.

The Harvard-Westlake water polo team, which traditionally has the toughest nonleague schedule in the region, will participate in the Long Beach Millikan tournament beginning today.

The Wolverines, ranked fifth in Division V, will compete against a field that includes fourth-ranked Villa Park and No. 7 Capistrano Valley.
