Long Beach City 35, Golden West 10--Tyler Tomich passed for 366 yards and three touchdowns in a victory for Long Beach (3-0). Golden West is 0-3.

Mt. San Antonio 48, Orange Coast 7--Eric Shine rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns to lead Mt. San Antonio (2-1). Kevin Seto had two touchdown passes for Mt. San Antonio.

J.D. Denham caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Chad Collins for Orange Coast’s only score.

Saddleback 38, El Camino 7--Mark Reynoso ran for three touchdowns for Saddleback in its victory over El Camino.

Justin Vedder threw for 313 yards and one touchdown for the Gauchos.

In the Golden Coast Classic:

Saddleback finishes 11th--Adalberto Sanchez of Saddleback finished sixth in 20 minutes 39 seconds on the Fairview Park four-mile course to take top county honors. Eleazar Hernandez (19:52) of Moorpark was the overall winner. Pasadena City edged out El Camino for top team honors, 50-63.

In the Cypress men’s water polo tournament:

Cypress 10, El Camino 5--Chris Kreutzer scored five goals in the championship game for Cypress (10-3). Justin Link had two goals for the Chargers in the final and the left-hander had 13 goals and 12 assists in the three-game tournament.
