Fountain Valley is beating its opponents by an average of 16 points and its defense is starting to come together. The Barons held Long Beach Jordan to 135 total yards last week, 65 of those coming on one run, and won, 23-12. Fountain Valley Coach George Berg said he’s excited to find out how good a team he has. “They have a number of returners back off their CIF title team,” Berg said. “The No. 1 key is we’re playing the county’s third-ranked team and we’d better be ready.”
