In its first national ranking of high school girls’ Top 20 teams, Lacrosse Magazine has chosen The Thacher School as its No. 20 team--the only ranked team west of Ohio.
Thacher’s team is riding a 27-game winning streak, including an overall record of 53-5 over the last five years.
The team’s 1996 season culminated in a 14-6 victory over San Diego’s San Pasqual school in the first-ever California State Championship for girls’ high school lacrosse.
