Orange County Championships Set

The 30th Orange County Cross-Country Championships begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Irvine Regional Park.
Top-ranked Esperanza, No. 2 Irvine and No. 4 El Modena figure to give No. 3 Dana Hills, the defending champion, a run for the girls’ title. No. 2 and defending champion Huntington Beach can expect challenges from No. 1 Santa Ana Valley, No. 3 Tustin and No. 4 Santa Margarita for the boys’ title.
