La Salle 48, Bell-Jeff 14--David Montes rushed for 194 yards and one touchdown in 35 carries for the Guards in a Santa Fe League loss at Monrovia High.
La Salle (3-3, 2-1) took a 21-0 lead before Montes scored on a three-yard run for Bell-Jeff (0-6, 0-3). David Barsumyan had the Guards’ other touchdown on a 28-yard reception from quarterback Alex Roldan. Roldan completed three of eight for 55 yards, with four interceptions.
