El Toro (4-2, 1-0) vs. Newport Harbor (5-1, 0-1)
7:30 TONIGHT
NEWPORT HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL
Don’t expect a defensive struggle here. Newport Harbor is averaging more than 40 points a game; El Toro is averaging 31 points. Newport Harbor had its lowest scoring game of the year last week in a 36-22 loss to Santa Margarita, but it still compiled more than 400 yards of offense. El Toro won its first three games and was ranked fourth in the county, but the Chargers lost two in a row until a 37-7 victory over Woodbridge last week. Since Newport Harbor lost its first Sea View League game, another loss would be damaging to its playoff hopes. The team that has the ball last might be the winner.
