* The Cal State Northridge women’s soccer team (4-13-1) has not scored in more than four games, a string of 379 minutes, since Jenn Gardner scored in the 71st minute of a 4-1 victory over Sacramento State on Oct. 12.

Northridge has been outscored, 13-0, in four consecutive losses. The streak might not end there. The Matadors’ final two opponents are Utah (11-5) and No. 20 Brigham Young (17-1).

* La Canada High junior Emily Dalbeck is threatening several school volleyball records. A 5-foot-10 outside hitter, Dalbeck has career marks of 345 kills, 102 blocks and 106 aces.
