More candidates: Two more football coaches told The Times on Wednesday that they have applied for the vacancy at Cal State Northridge. They are:

* Dave Lay, Colorado State’s offensive coordinator the past four seasons. Lay, 56, previously was offensive coordinator at San Diego State. He has also been a junior college assistant.

* Craig Stump, Southwest Texas offensive coordinator last season and an assistant at that school the four previous years. Stump, 31, who is looking for a job because Bobcat Coach Jim Bob Helduser was fired last month, once was an assistant at Tulane.

Iacenda on hold: The Clark County District Court postponed arraignment of USC running back Ted Iacenda on sexual assault charges.

The former Hart High standout, accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in Las Vegas on July 7, was supposed to enter a plea on Wednesday after the county grand jury indicted him on one count.

The new arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 18.

Wounded knee: Maya Muzurovic, center for the Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team, injured her right knee in practice Tuesday and might be out for the season.

Coach Michael Abraham said the 6-foot-4 freshman either dislocated the knee or tore the anterior cruciate ligament. She will miss at least Saturday’s game at San Jose State.

Catching a star: Northridge receiver David Romines has been selected to play in the Freedom All-Star game Jan. 18 at Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas.

The game is for players from historically black colleges and other selected small colleges and universities, according to a letter from the game’s organizers.

Romines, an All-Big Sky Conference selection, led Division I-AA with averages of 8.7 receptions and 130.9 receiving yards a game.
