Ratings for Sunday’s All-Star game were 4% under last year, from 11.7 to 11.2

The figure was 22% below the All-Star game’s peak rating of 14.3 in 1993, Nielsen Media Research said in New York. Still, it was the game’s fourth-highest rating since 1975, trailing only 1993, 1996 and 1992 (12.8).

NBC estimated the East’s 132-120 victory was watched by 37 million viewers, second only to the 44.5 million for the 1993 game.
