Antelope Valley 104, Riverside 83--The Marauders exploded for 61 points in the second half at Antelope Valley.
The Marauders (29-4), seeded No. 2 in the regional, advanced to a third-round game against Chaffey (26-10) on Saturday at Antelope Valley.
Freshman guard John Burrell had a game-high 34 points for Antelope Valley, making 12 of 17 shots.He shot 60.9% from the field. Burrell made four of six three-point shots.
Jonathan George had 21 points, Trevor Beal had 13 points and Shaun Murray had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Marauders.
Aaron Owens scored 29 points for Riverside (22-13).
The Marauders led, 43-42, at halftime and shot 75% (24 of 32) in the second half.
