Outlook: The Hawks lost some depth with eight seniors having graduated, including Division III champion Goh Phuangthong. But Lord thinks she’ll be able to plug some gaps with swimmers from the junior varsity and freshman ranks. Look for Poling, a breaststroke and individual medley specialist, to step up. Last year as a sophomore, Poling was second at the section finals in the breaststroke. Also expected to contribute heavily is Kwok, who was fifth in the IM at the section finals. Divers Maertz and Quinn should also add important points at the section finals, where Maertz finished third last year. Quinn was third at the recent National Diving Championships.
