The Kennedy High baseball team, two-time defending City Section 4-A Division champion and top-ranked in The Times’ preseason regional poll, plays Antelope Valley in a San Fernando tournament game at 3 p.m. at Pierce College.

The region’s top two pro prospects, pitchers Jon Garland of Kennedy and Sean Douglass of Antelope Valley, oppose each other.
