SEASON AT A GLANCE: Fluctuating between the top two spots on a deep Indian squad, Smith has improved his stroke average from 78 to 75 over the last two weeks. He has been in a season-long putting slump but says he is “hitting the ball the best I’ve hit in a long time.”

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Smith overcame his putting woes and fired a career-best 69 at the par-71 DeBell golf course to win the DeBell tournament over 127 other players. It was the best score by a Hart player in the 35-year history of the DeBell tournament.
