Piranha update--Anaheim scored a season-high 62 points in its first victory of the season over Florida. Injuries continue to plague the Piranhas. Nine players will miss tonight’s game with injuries, although fullback/linebacker Kevin Carroll will return to the lineup. The Piranhas have taken offensive specialist Bryan Reeves off the suspended list and have signed wide receiver/defensive back Spencer Wray and lineman Dante Simpson. Quarterback Lee Williamson, who left camp before the season opener, is back with the team. He could play some tonight although Mark Grieb will start.

Barnstormer update--Iowa, the Arena Bowl runner up last year, is off to a fast start. The Barnstormers defeated Albany, 68-57, last week behind quarterback Curt Warner, who passed for 394 yards and nine touchdowns. Both marks were the second highest in Arena Football League history. Expect a lot of whistles tonight. Iowa and Anaheim are first and second in penalties this season.
