WHAT: Valley Youth Conference All-Star Football Game.
* WHEN: Tonight, 7:30.
* WHERE: Birmingham High.
* WHO: All-star football players from the San Fernando Valley and neighboring communities.
* WHY: Proceeds go to the Valley Youth Conference, which provides reduced-cost scholarships for young athletes in need. The conference will include about 90 football teams of players ages 6 to 14 during the upcoming season. About 1,000 cheerleaders also are involved in the program.
* TICKETS: $6 for adults; children under 10 free. Available at the gate after 6:30 p.m. Parking is free.
