In the other Division I-A match:

Marina 3, Simi Valley Royal 0--Third-seeded Marina (17-2) qualified for the Southern California Regionals, the first time any Viking team in any sport, has qualified for a state playoff.

Lindsay Phillips led Marina with 19 kills and 11 digs, Chanda McLeod added 17 kills and eight digs and Ashlee Phillips had five aces and 45 assists.

In Division II-AA:

Santa Margarita 3, West Torrance 2--After dropping the first two games, 13-15, 8-15, Santa Margarita came back to win 15-1, 15-4, 15-8 and advanced to play Santa Barbara San Marcos, which defeated Cerritos Gahr, 15-6, 15-5, 9-15, 15-10.

Linda McCullagh had 16 digs and Sarah Ballag had seven blocks for the Eagles (16-3).

In Division III-AA:

Corona del Mar 3, Calabasas 0--Jordanna Havrilk had 15 kills for Corona del Mar (12-7), which won, 15-8, 15-10, 15-2. Corona del Mar will play La Habra in the final. Corre Myer had 31 assists for the Sea Kings (12-7).

La Habra 3, El Modena 1--Ashley Miles had 20 kills for La Habra (14-3), which won, 18-16, 13-15, 15-7, 15-8. El Modena ended 17-2.

In Division III-A:

Ocean View 3, North Hollywood Harvard Westlake 2--Tracy Lindquist had 75 assists, 25 digs and eight kills for Ocean View, which won, 15-10, 13-15, 15-10, 15-17, 15-11. Harvard Westlake ended 15-4.

Amy Knebel had 26 kills and Sharon Shelton added 23 for second-seeded Ocean View (16-1), which advanced to the final to play top-seeded Torrance Bishop Montgomery (16-1).
