Prospects Fill Fight Card in Irvine Tonight
IRVINE — The Marriott will host a card full of prospects tonight in a seven-bout show that begins at 7:30.
The six-round main event will pit junior featherweight Raphael Guttierez (3-0-1) of Los Angeles against Alejandro Lopez (0-2-1) of Costa Mesa. Guttierez won a four-round majority decision at the Marriott over Memo Moreno in June. The five-round semi-main event will match junior lightweight Antonio DeSantiago (1-0) of Baldwin Park against Oscar Olivas (0-3) of San Diego.
The five-bout undercard includes four boxers who are making their pro debut. One of those four is lightweight Jurgen Haeck of Belgium, a four-time national amateur champion. Haeck will face Costa Mesa’s Gustavio Tapia (3-2-2), who has the most professional experience of any fighter on the card.
Tickets are on sale at the Marriott today for $25, $30 and $35.
