The 6-foot-3 junior forward capped a big week with a 15-point, 11-rebound effort in Brea Olinda’s 50-47 victory over Palos Verdes Peninsula Saturday night in the final of the Ladycat Classic. Trotter, who was named MVP of the tournament, had a driving basket with 6.8 seconds left that gave the top-ranked Ladycats (5-0) a lead they didn’t relinquish. In four games of the Ladycat Classic, she averaged 19 points. In a 67-36 semifinal victory over Ontario Chaffey, she scored 18 points and pulled down 20 rebounds.
