Hueneme 51, Saugus 50--Robert Luna made a three-point shot with 14 seconds to play, lifting the Vikings (4-6) in the fifth-place game.

Luna finished with 24 points.

Calabasas 65, Granada Hills 64--Sophomore Walter Burch, making his varsity debut, scored 31 points and set a Granada Hills (1-6) single-game record with nine three-point baskets in the seventh-place game.

Michael Goldman made two free throws with 13 seconds to play, giving the Coyotes the lead for good. Spencer Hariton scored 22 points for Calabasas.

Salmen (La.) 57, Simi Valley 54--Rafael Berumen scored a game-high 27 points and had 16 rebounds for Simi Valley (7-1) in the championship game of the Great Florida Shootout in Kissimmee, Fla.

Ventura 65, Valencia 58--Jeff Staniland scored 38 points, 14 of them in the fourth quarter, in a pool-play game of the Ventura tournament.

Staniland made his six free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter. Ventura improved to 8-4.

Eskias McDaniels scored 15 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for Valencia.
