Jesse Daggett drove in four runs with three hits, including a two-run home run, and College of the Canyons defeated Harbor, 10-2, in a Western State Conference tournament baseball game at Harbor on Tuesday.

David Soto scored four runs for the Cougars (5-0) in a three-hit performance that included two doubles that knocked in two runs.

Left-hander Jeremy Shields pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing one unearned run on three hits. He struck out five and walked one.

Loyola Marymount 22, CS Dominguez Hills 9--Former Westlake High outfielder Matt Riordan had three hits to raise his average to .542 (19 for 35) for Loyola Marymount (5-4).

Riordan and former Crespi outfielder Robert Hirsh each dove in two runs.

Nevada Las Vegas 8, Pepperdine 7--Ryan Ludwick had two home runs and four runs batted in for the Rebels (6-2) in a 12-inning game at Las Vegas.

Chris Cosbey had four hits, including a home run, for the Waves (2-4-1).

Fullerton 8, Valley 4--Designated hitter Ray Montenegro had three hits for host Valley (1-3) in a nonconference game.

Oxnard 8, Cerro Coso 6--Jess Sanchez and Jack Wilson each had three hits for Oxnard (2-2).

Pat Colborn (2-0) allowed three hits, struck out two and walked four in six innings.

Oxnard parlayed four hits and a walk into a five-run fourth inning for a 6-2 lead.

L.A. City 3, Ventura 2--Andy Super’s two-run double in the fourth pulled Ventura even, 2-2, but the Pirates lost the game on a home run in the bottom of the 12th inning.

Cerritos 12, Pierce 7--Jared Hertz had two hits, including a home run, and drove in three runs, and Alfredo Saenz had two hits and two RBIs for Pierce in a nonconference game at Cerritos.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

The Master’s 87, La Sierra 63--Jeremiah Cathey scored 19 points and Lincoln Nugent had 17 for host Master’s (18-9) in a nonconference game.
