In other Division I wild-card games:

Fountain Valley 4, Century 0--Cliff McKinley scored a penalty kick in the 20th minute for the game-winner. Peter Fatzaun earned his sixth shutout of the year for host Fountain Valley (17-6-1), which advances to play at Long Beach Millikan (18-4-2) on Friday. Century finished 8-12-2.

Santa Ana 3, Lakewood 0--Freshman goalkeeper Danny Morles made two clutch saves to preserve the shutout for host Santa Ana (15-6). Arnulfo Garcia and Mario Gonzalez scored in the first half for the Saints, who play at Palos Verdes Peninsula (22-3-2) in Friday’s first round.

Los Alamitos 2, Long Beach Poly 1--The Griffins, who improve to 15-9-2, will play at top-seeded Saddleback (19-1) on Friday in a first-round game.

In Division III wild-card games:

Brea Olinda 3, Los Altos 1--Daniel Flores scored twice in the first 20 minutes and goalkeeper Mark Becher finished with eight saves for host Brea Olinda (9-6-4). The Wildcats play at El Monte Mountain View (10-2-8) Friday.

Sonora 2, Sierra Vista 1--Jon West scored the game-winner in the 60th minute with an assist from James Mena. Luis Salazar scored 14 minutes later for Sierra Vista (8-6-9). Sonora’s Juan Maroni opened the scoring in the first half with an assist from Julio Laguna. Sonora (14-7-2) advanced to play at La Verne Bonita (10-7-1) on Friday.

Trabuco Hills 4, Loara 1--Trabuco Hills got scoring from four players. Goalkeeper Jay Arntson had two saves and didn’t allow a goal for the Mustangs (11-7-4), who will play top-seeded Santa Margarita (15-3-3) Friday. Loara finished 7-13-2.
