In Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball:

Fullerton 69, Riverside 55--Aimme Copp, who made eight of 12 shots from the field, had 20 points and 11 rebounds for Fullerton (16-7, 2-2). Angie Baca made four three-pointers, scoring 17 points and Paola Flores had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Hornets.

Santa Ana 72, Saddleback 68--Shanna Renken had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the Dons (15-2, 4-0). Nekeda Allen had 16 points and a team-high 11 rebounds for the Dons. Hayley Hall had 21 points and Christina Carcich had 20 for Saddleback (7-12, 1-3).

In Orange Empire Conference men’s basketball:

Fullerton 97, Riverside 70--Fullerton was led by Erick Ashe’s 29 points and Ben Sanders’ 24 as the Hornets took a 50-32 halftime lead over visiting Riverside.

Cypress 78, Irvine Valley 74 (OT)--Brad Smith hit a three-pointer with four seconds remaining in regulation to tie the score for Cypress. He scored the final nine points of regulation for Cypress, hitting three three-pointers.

A.D. Lamoureux, hit seven of 11 from the field to lead Cypress (11-10, 2-2) with 21 points and eight rebounds. Smith and Frankie Floyd each added 12 points.

Robert Griffin led Irvine Valley (15-6, 3-1) with 20 points and five assists.

Orange Coast 75, Golden West 69--Chris Lopez led the Pirates (13-7, 2-2) with 22 points, making nine of 13 from the field.

Charles Johnson had 23 points and 13 rebounds for Golden West (5-16, 0-4).

Saddleback 67, Santa Ana 62--Marshall Freeman had 18 rebounds and Vernon Jackson and Shemmar Frazier each had 11 to help Saddleback to a 51-37 advantage on the boards.
