Man Killed in Apparent Hit-and-Run Is Identified
A man who was apparently killed in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday on a Gardena street has been identified as Los Angeles resident Fernando Manfredis Salgado, 26, the Sheriff’s Department said.
A Gardena police patrol found Salgado’s body slumped against a curb near West 139th Street and Cimarron Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, officials said.
The Sheriff’s Department is investigating Salgado’s death as a homicide.
