Friend Held in Stabbing of Man, 40
A 22-year-old La Palma man has been arrested in the stabbing of his 40-year-old friend.
Police say Paul A. Myers, 40, of Cypress was stabbed in the stomach in his home following an argument with David T. Laun, 22, of La Palma. When officers responded to a reported fight at 10:37 p.m. in the 8700 block of Lasalle Street, they say they found Laun standing over Myers. A knife was recovered at the scene, police said.
Officers arrested Laun and transported Myers to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, where his condition was listed as stable.
