The La Habra Girls Softball Assn. will be honored at the fifth annual Grants for Girls ceremony Friday. The program recognizes sports organizations that provide opportunities for girls 17 years old and under. The ceremony is part of Women Sports Day. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oshman’s, La Habra Marketplace, Imperial Highway at Idaho Street. Information: (562) 690-7900.
