The loss was the fourth in a row for Verdugo Hills (3-7, 3-4). Starting quarterback Jason Dupras completed none of 10 attempts with one interception. Backup Kevin Mugavero didn’t connect on any of his three passes, and also had one intercepted.

Torwin Session of Eagle Rock completed 22 of 37 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, with two interceptions. Gilbert Garcia made seven catches for 88 yards and a touchdown.

Jose Adame rushed for 92 yards in his only two carries, including a 72-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that gave Eagle Rock (6-4, 4-3) its final score.

Eagle Rock amassed 430 yards offense.
