Associated Press
Ryan Bach stopped 19 of 20 shots, and Doug Ast’s seventh goal of the year gave the Ice Dogs a 2-1 International Hockey League victory over the Utah Grizzlies at Long Beach Arena on Friday night.
Patrik Augusta had given the Ice Dogs a 1-0 lead in the second period, but Utah’s Nick Naumendo tied the score.
Ast’s winning goal came at 7:33 of the third period.
The Grizzlies also had a second-period goal disallowed because of men in the crease.
