De La Cruz, a junior, completed 15 of 29 passes for 249 yards against Rosamond. De La Cruz has passed for 3,763 yards this season.

De La Cruz threw touchdown passes of 25 yards to Earvin Johnson and 14 and 24 yards to Julian Nava.

Boller, a senior, completed his first 14 passes and finished with 29 completions in 34 attempts for 441 yards and five touchdowns in Hart’s 51-12 Division II victory over La Canada St. Francis.

Boller’s season total is 4,503 yards, breaking the state single season-record record of 4,362 set by Chris Czernek of Newbury Park in 1995.

Boller has thrown 56 touchdown passes.

Boller is just 155 yards short of breaking the national record for single-season yardage set by Phillip Deas of Evangel Christian in Shreveport, La.
